Marc GriffithsMarc started playing billiards when he joined the Marine Corps in 1988. He has been playing consistently for the past 23 years and his passion for the game has grown stronger with each passing year. He has invested a lot of time over the years into improving his game by learning from those with more experience. He has played on TAP, BCA, and VNEA leagues for the past 6 years and he tries to participate in as many local and regional tournaments as he possibly can. This past May, he went to the BCA International tournament in Vegas for the first time. In May of 2012, he will be heading to Vegas once again; this time to participate in the VNEA International Tournament.

Kimberly GriffithsKimberly grew up in Denver and spent many hours as a teenager playing pool at Sheridan Billiards. It was one of her favorite things to do with her older brothers Brian and Tim. When they went into the Marine Corps in 1988, she would drag her younger brother Jamie to the pool halls. All of her brothers are still actively enjoying the game today. While she can no longer play billiards, she still enjoys everything about the game. She hopes to spend more time encouraging youth worldwide to become involved with billiards. She believes there is a considerable amount of untapped potential with youth in billiards and wants to guide them on a path to success.

One night as they sat dreaming out loud about what they would do if they won a million dollars, Marc and Kimberly came up with the idea of opening a pool hall. They spent years talking about it and decided that since winning the lottery was a long shot, they would come up with another way to build a business around billiards. That was when Str8 Shots was formed. With a lot of time and effort their dreams have slowly but surely come to fruition. While they desire to turn Str8 Shots into so much more, they hope you will enjoy str8-shots.com and all it currently has to offer.
